Ceaser Wisdom Favor
Ceaser Wisdom Favor is a Ugandan computer scientist who has specialized in Embedded and Mobile Systems. His public-Health data science and AI research experience has enabled him gain understanding of the contributions by AI innovations to patients in resource-limited settings. He has seven years of experience in health systems development and implementation, AI innovations, implementation and scaling. He developed a pioneering dolutegravir-associated prediction tool, COVID-19 screening tool, and a lost to follow up prediction model for people living with HIV (PLHIV) in clinical care. He is now undertaking research in antenatal risk stratification (ARS) AI innovations to screen expectant mothers for possible adverse events during pregnancy and at birth.
Ceaser enjoys developing, implementing, and scaling AI innovations that improve the livelihoods of individuals and communities. His vision is to layer AI on digital innovations and use them to positively impact the health of populations. At the moment, he is the data science and AI support to the Hub of Artificial Intelligence in Maternal Sexual and Reproductive Health (HASH) based at the Infectious Diseases Institute.
