Dr Aima Uagboe, has over 14years of clinical practice, is currently a Senior Resident in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She serves as Clinical Advisor at mDoc Healthcare, a role which involves oversight on clinical operations and giving key advice on clinical matters and strategy. She also leads the HASH project at mDoc. mDoc is a digital health enterprise which integrates proven methodologies in quality improvement, data and behavioural science with web and mobile-based technology to support people to manage their regular and chronic health needs so they can live longer, happier, and healthier lives.

An International Diabetes Federation (IDF) certified professional, Dr. Uagboe has facilitated several trainings on chronic disease management, diabetes podiatry as well as on the management of diabetes in pregnancy.

Dr. Uagboe is passionate about disseminating information on maternal health and self-care. To her credit, she has written several abstracts which have been accepted and presented at scientific conferences, including the International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FIGO), the European Society for Hypertension (ESH), and the Global Digital Health Forum (GDHF).

Dr Uagboe obtained her MBBS from the University of Port Harcourt and is an Associate Fellow of the National Post graduate Medical College of Nigeria (Obstetrics and Gynaecology). She has also worked at the Moorehouse School of Medicine, the Women’s Healthcare Centre of Georgia.

Dr. Uagboe has a desire to see timely and effective healthcare delivery for women and children with emphasis on the intersection of technology and healthcare delivery.
