Dr Aima Uagboe
An International Diabetes Federation (IDF) certified professional, Dr. Uagboe has facilitated several trainings on chronic disease management, diabetes podiatry as well as on the management of diabetes in pregnancy.
Dr. Uagboe is passionate about disseminating information on maternal health and self-care. To her credit, she has written several abstracts which have been accepted and presented at scientific conferences, including the International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FIGO), the European Society for Hypertension (ESH), and the Global Digital Health Forum (GDHF).
Dr Uagboe obtained her MBBS from the University of Port Harcourt and is an Associate Fellow of the National Post graduate Medical College of Nigeria (Obstetrics and Gynaecology). She has also worked at the Moorehouse School of Medicine, the Women’s Healthcare Centre of Georgia.
Dr. Uagboe has a desire to see timely and effective healthcare delivery for women and children with emphasis on the intersection of technology and healthcare delivery.
